The game

What is CantaBall?+
CantaBall is the infrastructure for competitive tabletop sports. It begins with a new physical tabletop football sport where players flick pieces to score goals. It blends physical gameplay with a connected league system of player identity, rankings, and seasons.
How is CantaBall played?+
Players move pieces freely across the pitch, using angle, weight, and touch to flick, pass, defend, and score. There are no foosball-style rods between your hand and the play.
How are scores recorded?+
Match results are recorded at the end of play and appear in your CantaBall history. Eligible ranked matches also affect your rankings.

The progression system behind the match.

What is the Global Leaderboard?+
The Global Leaderboard reflects a player’s ongoing ranked play over time. It is the long-term view of your competitive history.
What is a Circuit?+
A Circuit is a defined competitive region and community of official places to play. It gives local competition a home while connecting players to the wider CantaBall system.
What is a season?+
A season is a defined competitive window in which players compete for a Circuit title. Official Season One begins in January 2027.
What are Circuit Standings?+
Circuit Standings show how players are performing within a Circuit during a season. They are the local competitive view alongside the long-term Global Leaderboard.
How do rankings, Circuits, and seasons work together?+
Your Global Leaderboard position follows your ongoing ranked play. During a season, eligible official ranked matches can also shape your position in the Circuit Standings for the Circuit where you compete.

Orders and delivery

What the $100 reservation means and when tables become available.

What does the $100 reservation do?+
It's a refundable deposit that's credited in full toward your table. It gives you priority in our first production run and access to the early-bird price, and first access to CantaBall league play in your city when Season One launches there. It stays refundable until you confirm your production slot, and if we can't deliver, it's refunded in full.
How much will a table cost?+
The standard price is US$2,500, and the early-bird price is US$1,800. In Nigeria, the early-bird price includes delivery in Lagos and import duties. Elsewhere, it excludes taxes, shipping and import duties.
When will tables be available?+
Our first production run is targeted for Q1 2027. Official Season One begins in January 2027.
Where will CantaBall be available?+
Lagos leads the launch and is our initial proving ground. When hardware orders open, we expect to deliver to supported markets including Canada, the US, the UK, and Nigeria, with more markets to follow.

Venues and CantaBall Live

For people bringing CantaBall into a home, bar, lounge, or venue.

Can I use CantaBall at home, at a venue, or for an event?+
CantaBall is designed for homes, bars, lounges, offices, social venues, and selected live activations. Venues and event partners can use gameplay, queues, displays, leaderboards, and audience participation to create a fuller experience around the table. If you want to bring CantaBall to your venue or event, talk to our venue team.
What is CantaBall Live?+
CantaBall Live is the venue-facing layer of the product: displays and programming that bring the room into the action. Depending on the experience, that can include queues, leaderboards, spectator participation, trivia, polls, or predictions.

What is planned

A clear look at a future capability without confusing it with today’s table.

Are automated scoring features planned?+
Automated goal detection is planned for a future hardware release, targeted for 2027. We’ll share confirmed availability closer to release.
